Hello All,
It has been a bit busy around here lately. Crazy how our lives just get in the way of the fun stuff we’d rather be doing. That being a responsible adult stuff can just rage havoc on play time. So we will do some catch up after Harmony. Which will be one I will have to probably constantly work at. It’s a hard one to grasp. I mean really see your life in perfect balance…..nope not there yet.
Beauty is the next lesson: How many of you actually appreciate the beauty around you. Or in yourself? Take a minute stop just look around you. Maybe you hung up a verse or a cute picture by your computer, maybe your kids are sitting in the next room playing together sweetly, you know that rockin color you wanted on the walls in this room it looks AMAZING! Seriously take a moment everyday and see something beautiful in your life.
Joy: ‘With an eye made quiet by the power of harmony, and the deep power of joy,” William Wordsworth wrote, “we see into the life of things.”
The real acceptance of your reality will set you free. I love what the author says…”cast a glance around and acknowledge what’s going on. This is my tiny kitchen with the dirty floor, this is how much I weigh, this is my checking account balance, this is where I work right now. This is what is really happening in my life at the present moment. This is okay. This is real life.” I just love this! I’ve been trying to live this way for years. Reality isn’t always pretty, isn’t always what we want. But, it’s where we are right now so let’s start here. Only you can choose to accept, enjoy, and move on from there. Or accept and rejoice depending on what and where you want to go. The bottom line is stop looking at everyone else and look at you. Your 4 walls and those that live within. Those are the people, memories, love, and values you will take with you all your life and into where ever your dreams take you. REJOICE and be GLAD in it. No matter what your “it” is.
I’m really enjoying this book and this journey so far. I don’t always remember to write in my gratitude journal but, everyday I am grateful.
